My best friend Izzy and I strike yet again with the current popularity contest!

So we decided to draw the brave shift of one of the units in the lead and went with OolongNoon's Malphasie :)

So behold! Queen Corvus Malphasie and with it a few points of design from Izzy and I on the artistic process when designing the new look behind Malphasie's look

​

• A lot of our focus began with reviewing every detail and footnote we could get on Malphasie whether from her own kit, her background in her unit descriptions, or anything Oolong herself posted regarding Malphasie
• Given we knew Malphasie was a HYBRID unit upon release we decided to change our focus purely on just Magical
• We went with Magical because we went with the idea based around her three crows being mystical in nature like familiars.
• Given the mystical nature of her birds. We decided to make the Brave Shift form akin to the Esper/Party fusion party members. So Malphasie is both a fusion of herself and her birds Munin, Hugin, and Yata becoming one being.
• Hugin, Munin, and Yata transform into the three main aspects of her attire. Her Dress, Crown, and Wings.
• Hugin whose name in Old Norse means Thought becomes the Crown on Malphasie's head. Hugin's Crown give Malphasie all the inherent knowledge of the magic and powers her crows possess that she can now wield freely.
• Munin whose name is also Old Norse for Memory becomes the Wings that allows Malphasie to take flight. The reason for this is because Malphasie's strongest wish in her memory as a vision was the freedom of being able to fly with the wings of a bird. So Munin gifts her wings to fly on her own.
• Yata whose name is derived from the Japanese mythical three legged crow of the same name becomes the dress Malphasie wears. 3 talon like accessories to represent those 3 legs. 2 of them on the sides of her dress, and the 3rd being an accessory wrapped around her right leg.
• If you notice on her chest you can see the Ravenheart Super Trust Master is still wore in her shifted form.
