It is funny that we are getting an alt-version of a character instead of her original version, so she has a title and everything.

Okay, listen up! I know the news just reported on that meteor that could collide with us any minute now, but this is more important. I need to talk. OR type. Or whatver it is im' doing now.

Listen. We just got a War of the Visions Update. New news. 1.5 anni. Coolios and everything. This isn't about us getting a collab during our FFVII collab. This isn't about us getting not 1, but 2 BACK-2-BACK weeks of limited time units and stuff DURING our collab full of limited FFVII units. This is way more important.

They're releasing her. The skank. That hussy. Dare I say, that sl-[REDACTED]!
Starlight Elena... I'm obviously upset at that Elena part of the character. Now why, HOW could releasing that... wench could be a bad thing. Well I'll tell you. Who was the last GL original unit released in WotV? The winner of a popularity contest, Zazan, who is the only N rarity unit in the game, and now has a UR GLO revamp. The unit before that? Duane. The unit who won a contest years ago for FFBE. And then before him was the first WotV GL Original unit, Fryevia. One of our earliest GL original units. The 5^th GL Original character to FFBE. Y'know, her being first disappoints me since she's not my fave, but it's fitting enough. But now. Our second GL original character coming to War of the Visions is none other than that wench.

Starlight Elena... Again, it's the Elena half that's upsetting me. Of all those GL Original characters, they release her next. Not any of the OG GLEX Gals. Not either of the other two of the first, non-limited GL original gals. It's... her. That friggin' dang tramp. One of the two characters who became "The Face of Global!" [Hiroki in one of the stream]. Why are they the face of GL? Because they made them tons of money. And how did they make tons of money? Well, it certain wasn't because they released TRIPLE TO DOUBLE THE POWER OF THE CURRENT JP UNITS! Now at least Elena had that neat supportive stuff, but really, would those Original Three not be

But I'm not done feeling personally attacked. I don't care what those whacko seismologist said about the earthquakes currently happening originating from Yellow Stone. This is matters way more.

During the update they they announced something else. A SUMMER UNIT (Elsirelle) is getting a unique passive on a vision card. A Christmas Vision Card. Now, Vision Cards are similar to what they are on FFBE, you equip them, you get stats and passive boosts. Unlike FFBE, WotV brought over some Brave Frontier by giving them party boosts. Also similar to BF's Leader Skills (Party buffs based on 'Leader' unit), many are restricted to an Element. That summer unit is water. This VC provides water atk boosts to the girl with glasses in the image, and boosts magic to rod wielders (the weapon, not males).

They decided to add not only that SUMMER unit to the card, but also Scholar jobs since she isn't a rod user. Sounds pretty alright. Letting more mages and a water unit get good buffs from a returning VC. Sounds good. But you know else is a water unit? Ramada. You know who else else is a water unit? Reinmada. You know who gets character specific buffs from a water specific Vision Card that she appears in? Twice? Ramada. You know who doesn't get any character specific buffs from these same VCs? Reinmada. Now the latter doesn't matter because it's a magic VC made for her sister, but it does show a coincidence that is corrected for this newer Summer unit but not the very first holiday unit JP made. I mean, you know who'd really like some Defense Penetration to increase damage to enemies that stack Def? I dunno, maybe a Soldier job unit that USES A GIANT FRIGGIN' SWORD!

Like it was infuriating that it happened to her in the first place, but now this summer unit is added to a winter Vision Card, while this character can't even get an alternative version of her on her own VCs? It's so non-sensical. I mean, there's a dark element character, has an earth element alt, that gets character specific buffs on a DARK EXCLUSIVE VC! HOLY CRAP! WHY IS IT LIKE THIS!

It's like it's made to frustrate me.

But it doesn't end there. I'll try to get this done fast since Kuramon looks to be eating away at the internet, so before it launches the nukes, I have to get this out. This is the thing that's going to bother and hurt me most.

That holiday unit, Reinmada, is unironically my favorite unit. I don't care about Ramada, but Reinmada was the first UR unit I tried to raise on the JP version. She's rad, glass-cannon that still does good damage to mobs.

She's getting her EX Job this update. I should be ecstatic. But to be frank, the quality of this EX upgrade is like Lucius getting his Neo Vision. Yes, the character is notably stronger, but in comparison to other characters, is far from great. And it's worth noting that JP has Christmas soon after it's anniversary. This winter unit got delayed, and now so is her EX job. MONTHS delayed.

I've said she's a glass-cannon. EX upgrades provide a great boost to stats, 2 abilities upgraded, and 1 ability unlocked when maxed. Her first upgrade is to an attack boost the costs HP. The buff was to grant immunity to Paralyze, Stop, and Doom. A glass-cannon immune to Doom... Also worth knowing, in PVP, there's no way someone is using a non-attacking move to cause any of these ailments. This is apart from the fact that it's unlikely for her to even use the ability since TMRs provide great active buffs to use.

Her next is a boost to her single target, melee attack the causes Doom... Aside from being a kill or be killed unit having Doom, all it got was a damage boost. Good thing being close to characters while being so squishy is incredibly smart and useful. Not like a boost to her ranged, AoE attack would've been better or anything...

Speaking of that ability, it costs a QUARTER of her health, but it's incredibly strong. Nice and all, but what if they gave her an attack with the same range, maybe costed less hp, but also dealt less damage! 🙃

Is the AI ever going to use a WEAKER attack??? NO! What the HECK IS THIS CRAP!?!??!? THIS IS SO STUPID AND USELESS! EVERYTHING SHE GOT WAS STUPID AND USELESS!

And that's not all. This gets better. So much better. So much worse for me...

The EX upgrades she got? Another unit got the same. exact. upgrades. Schuzelt, an MR unit. This is like if Karten released, and 3 months later, a similar unit, a 4 star unit, got ability awakenings to make him near-identical to Karten. Down to the damage dealt on the abilities. The only difference is the base stats and some passives.

Like holy crap. A limited time. UR unit. Is getting. EX upgrades. Identical. To a non-limited. MR unit. And it gets better. That's JP. In GL, Schuzelt has his EX job.

So in Global. A limited time UR unit is getting EX upgrades identical to a non-limited MR unit.

It's like if Karten appeared in JP, 3 months later that 4* unit released with an identical kit, and we got that 4* unit awakened MONTHS before Karten released...

**I HATE IT! I HATE ALL OF THIS! ** And of all the characters it could occur to, it happens to MY favorite unit in the game. I hate it. Why. I hate it. I hate it.

Gosh dang it, I hope Diaboromon kills Omegamon and launches those nuke.

I don't know if this was entertaining to anyone else. At the least I could provide you basic-taste normies y'all with some jezebel's pretty alright WotV art.

I am legitimately upset and annoyed though.

There's even things I didn't mention, like Fryevia's VC providing Slash resist which is great, but also Wind resist and Def reduction resist, which is pretty lame. Or how Lara Croft is giving a water VC with a luck boost to water units, which is great to help my girl Reinmada and a future water ninja become an evade team, but it also provides missile attack which will be useless to me since I won't be able to affrod going for Lara.

But, both VCs are free, so it's kinda rad. They're both also very usable. I mean, my team is using a slash resist VC that isn't even maxed, so Fry's VC can only be better.

Still, if anyone somehow read the rant, I hope it was enjoyable. I will bitterly fade away now.
