What's the deal with the spiritual sword?

Sword with 54 ATK and 125 SPR?
Who's this supposed to be for?
Was this in the JP 3^rd Anniversary KM shop?
Do we know if anyone released in the future is interested in this?

I supposed paired with Spiritual Defense it's a sweet 50% SPR with 20% HP/DEF but most units who want to load up on SPR should be holding a staff anyways, so this would mean they'd have to DW to get full benefits. But who wants SPR who can naturally equip both staves and swords?

Actually, while typing all this up I just realized this sword and materia would be perfect for CG Cecil lol
