Over the last few days this week, we've gotten numerous carry threads for some of the later trials centered around GLEX units. Reberta for Odin, A. Fry for dolls, Zarglebargle for Omega, Kryla for Iron Man, etc. This got me thinking which future trials will put spotlights on other GLEX units to shine for just a little longer.
The first ones that came to mind were Reberta for Greg Reborn and then iNichol for Dark Espers Reborn (Ifrit Siren).
In JP, people used CG Cid to OTKO Greg Reborn while locking all of his elements. I'm numerically handicapped (AKA I suck at maths), but I'm sure Reberta will be able to do comparable damage because of her man killer buffs.
In the Dark Espers Reborn trial, one of the team compositions a lot of people used was centered around having an evade provoke tank, a magic tank with combined 420% Dark/Water/Fire resist after buffs, and a Sara. The reason Sara was in the team was because of an AOE physical attack that Ifrit would throw out and Sara has a skill that lets everyone evade a singular physical attack.
The problem with this team (apart from being reliant on magic cover RNG) was that it relied on having strong enough DD's that could nuke Ifrit from 61%-0%, as Ifrit would start throwing out this AOE physical attack two times each turn after 60% and Sara could only give you a single mirage stack. However, iNichol's LB gives 2 mirage stacks and if he's at 4*, it only costs 12 LB stones to fill. With a full LB/turn build, iNichol can have permanent uptime on his LB. This should enable turtle comps with weak DD's to beat the trial, assuming they're able to gear their tanks properly.
