You can play yhr game without the disc in the system!!!!

Maybe I'm late to the party, but I powered on the PS5 and decided to play FF7 Rebirth vs Helldivers 2. I click the icon and the game boots up. I thought to myself "The FF7 Rebirth disc is not in the game!" I check the disc case and both disc are in the case. My mind is blown by something so simple. Other games require the disc be in the console. WHAT ELSE DON'T I NOW KNOW!?!?!?!
