So I got an offer letter for a area manager.( I haven't accepted it yet) When I applied i was told by a friend to use a family member address since it would help me to get the job due to address being close to a busy area.
Since previous job was remote but contracted i would go back and forth between two different family members places. Central California and SoCal. The job is in SoCal and it's what i wanted.
But I would have loved to use it for future expenses such as buying a better used car but since that's the address the warehouse is pretty near. 30 min commute.
So that being said would it be smart to explain that was a incorrect address. Do i use take an L and learn my lesson? If i ask would it been seen as being greedy and might they withdraw my offer letter?
I'm thinking it's a lose. But I've also heard it doesn't hurt to ask but also the instead of saying no couldn't they say we changed our mind in hiring you. What would you do?
This job would be a great pay upgrade from previous experience. So wouldn't want to lose it but that relocation lump sum would help a ton aka a better used car.
