I do Count (all 3), Pick, and Stow, and I've personally tested all of these. You can do all of them on any IDS or Universal station, and you can do Count and Pick on any ARSAW. Technically you only need two roles, but it's easiest if you have them all and keep a scanner on you.

  • If you're in the middle of doing one of the counts and they ask you to switch to another, you can sign out and sign back into your station before the pods release, and you can continue your current count until the second count's pods arrive. This increases your real productivity and prevents getting TOT (can happen with long pod gaps and your first bin needing a recount).

  • Before your paid break, you can swap to a role you aren't using so that your break time is coded under that role. This lowers your real productivity since you have to wait for pods, but increases your productivity on paper (like if your team is having a contest) since you won't have that 30 minutes of down time on your main role. Any role with under 5 hours in a week isn't counted for things like rate coachings or write-ups, so if you know you won't be doing SBC that week, use that as your dump stat.

  • If you like the FC Games, you've probably noticed that Count gets more points for everything. I only ever play Tama Zilla so I don't know how this impacts other games. If you log in with Count, let the game load, and then quickly log in to Stow or Pick, the FC Games won't reload and now you can level up 5x faster.

  • If you put flat items into a bin upright, they won't fall through the straps and make life miserable for the rest of us.
