Need to Change Shift Before Start Date…

Will be starting as a delivery station warehouse associate in a couple weeks with my new hire event coming up this week.
Something changed in my daily schedule that cannot be shifted around that conflicts with the original shift I signed up for.
Can I change my shift at this point? Do I bring it up during the new hire event. Am I SOL?
