New player: what is generally played the most? CC or Blitz

I just started learning the game with some blitz precons online. The game seems very simple (I’m sure this is because I’m playing precons). But I’m pretty bored with the depth of the decision making with the precons so far. I saw CC is FAB’s standard? What are some of the relevant differences that distinguish the two, absent of life total. What is played the most by the community?
