The live viewer on android tvs has stopped working

The last two races, my experience is that the app will not display any live events for my Sony Bravia tv on the F1TV app from Google play store. All the pre recorded and past events play as they should but when attempting to play a live race or pre race show, the app perpetually loads then reloads a black screen. I’ve uninstalled, restarted, etc. to no avail. Does anyone know what the issue is?
