I used a controller on f1 2014, 2018, and the beginning stages of 2019. A few months ago I bought a racing wheel to feel a little more immersed and I have to say it brings a whole new life to the game. While the Codemasters F1 games may not be simulators, I’ve had so much fun being able to get my lines consistently and race side by side in career mode without crashing. There’s a lot of different opinions on racing wheels but I’m loving the feel I get playing this game now, compared to the sometimes irritating way the controllers handle the cars.
