Exterior is so dull. Please help!
Post Body

I would like to add some color to my house but I'm having a really hard time coming up with a color scheme. I've been depending on garden and some pots on steps to add just a small bit of color but it's just not enough.

Some things to take into consideration:

  • I removed the window awning on the right hand side.
  • I am not sure I can afford to have my vinyl painted. I've never gotten an estimate though.
  • I was thinking of shutters on the one window but I can't figure out a color.
  • I actually have 2 doors - the front one and then one for a side entrance. I would be open to painting both.
  • I am struggling because I have that white trim on the right side of the house. That with the light grey siding and roof are what is throwing me off. I was thinking of black shutters and maybe painting door black but I wasn't sure how that would look with that white roof siding.
  • I was also thinking of painting concrete steps something.

Any recommendations would be appreciated
