Was I close to astral projecting? Feedback

Post Body

So Iā€™ll start by saying Iā€™m very open minded and totally believe in our spiritual selves and astral projection.

I had a few unintended experiences in my college years (44 now) with the aid of hallucinogens that no doubt left me with a firm belief and greater curiosity of our spiritual nature on this earth.

As a 7 lifepath, Iā€™ve always had a curiosity beyond this word and have continually been distracted and unsatisfied to a certain degree keeping up with the everyday stuff in life unable to devote myself as Iā€™d like to more purposeful pursuits and interests.

Anyhow, I had been looking more into manifestation, numerology, synchronicities, even aliens/ufoā€™s when I started seeing more on astral projection and thought Iā€™d make a few steps toward giving it a try.

Iā€™d honestly never meditated or did much more than reading about these topics so itā€™s an understatement to say Iā€™m a beginner aside from the fact that Iā€™ve always known thereā€™s been a higher calling for me (as I suppose there is for all of us).

So after watching a few videos and reading some on AP I thought Iā€™d give it a try just to see.

The first night I tried I was able to relax myself after quite some time trying to quiet my mind projecting my desire to be guided and felt I was able to reach a mild meditative state, but not much more.

The second attempt came when my wife had fallen asleep with our son in his bed, so I was alone in ours and after calming myself and trying to focus on the task at hand it had felt like I had briefly fallen asleep when all of a sudden I became aware that my body (especially from my chest area up through my head) was intensely vibrating. As many have related it, it reminded me of the feeling of being electrocuted (without the pain). It was very intense. I could even audibly hear it within myself.

I quickly became aware that I could be experiencing the first stages of potentially having an AP experience but at the same time the intensity of the vibrations had me in such a surprised state I wasnā€™t sure how to proceed as much as I wanted to somehow overcome it to move to the next step.

It was at this moment (this sounds weirdā€¦) I heard a voice yell very distinctly in a condescending toneā€¦..It said, ā€œnice try pussy!ā€, lol

It was at this point I woke up.

Afterwords I questioned if it was me yelling (Iā€™m still not sure), or if my wife in the other room may have heard it or if it was all in my mind or dream state. It sounded so real and I was sure myself or someone in my house had audibly said the words.

Anyway, I tried again last night but my mind was too busy and I didnā€™t have the bed to myself so it didnā€™t go anywhere.

Soooā€¦did I really get started on this journey? The vibrations were to powerful to ignore, a little scary/intense but Iā€™m stubborn and determined so Iā€™m not afraid.

What would you make of the yelling I heard? Is it just a test or a challenge?

Iā€™m very intrigued and determined to progress and I realize it will likely take some time, however if my experience is what I believe it to be I am encouraged that I had some form of success after just a couple of attempts.

Very curious to hear the thoughts of the community. Thanks!!
