Experiencers who are US voters: Have you checked out DeclassifyUAP.org/action, which allows you to easily send a message to your elected officials telling them to support government UAP transparency in about 30 seconds?

Post Body

Hi All,

I recently launched the organization Declassify UAP, which is really the culmination of my more than three decades of intense interest in the areas of UFOs/UAP/NHI.

The whole point of the site is to try to help evolve "UAP" into being not just a topic of interest, but a full-on political issue.

I would love for "the UAP transparency voter" to be a thing.

The goal was to make it trivial for US voters, at scale, to engage their elected officials around the topic of US government over-classification when it comes to UAP and surrounding issues.

The org was more widely announced in a quite-positive Tweet by Ross Coulthart around Sept 1st/2nd, and since then, we are up to almost 1000 US voters who've used to system to quickly send messages to their own representatives in the House, Senate, as well as the White House.

Your own reps care about your opinions, because you are a constituent. The others don't, so much. It's not really their job, even if they chair some important committee.

But our elected officials do care about constituents (because they care about votes), and Declassify UAP makes it very easy for constituents to engage their reps to be part of the democratic process. If you are not talking to your reps directly, you are not taking advantage of the full potential of democratic engagement, as I see it.

In addition to DeclassifyUAP.org/action (the Action Center), where you can send a message to your reps in ~30 seconds, the site features a lot of resources pertaining to UAP-related legislation, hearings, reports and presentations the US government has put out, etc. The focus is on the realm of officialdom and policy.

I know many members of this community feel strongly that the government needs to validate their experiences much more than has happened to date, so I hope you'll join the campaign (US voters), and let your opinions be known. I very much believe that we deserve "the truth" (as the USG understands it), and can handle the truth.

Sending the pre-written message via DeclassifyUAP.org/action is just the first step. We have a call script on the site to help guide followups to your reps' D.C. offices, as well as the ability for folks to send fully customized messages to their own reps. The site makes this all quite easy.

It also really helps to share the campaign with others, both online and even with people you know IRL -- partners, parents, adult children, grandparents, friends, colleagues. Get everyone at a family gathering (of voting age) to send off a message – I love the idea of our officials knowing that families talk about this topic, and want to know more.

Please let me know if you have any questions. This organization and effort is my full-time gig, at the moment.

A few resources include:

Coverage in Politico

First appearance on NewsNation

Second appearance on NewsNation

A presentation I gave to my colleagues at the Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies (SCU), which really got into "UAP transparency activism 101"

But please, if you click one link in this message (which the r/Experiencers mod team has provided permission for me to post), please make it DeclassifyUAP.org/action, and if you're a US voter, take the ~30 seconds to send a message to your elected officials. This is absolutely, without question, a numbers game, and every constituent making their voice heard on this issue is important and helps the cause!

Btw, we are down to needing 13 more US voters to join the campaign, to hit the important milestone of 1000 folks having used the campaign tool to send out messages. I would love it if this community could put us over the top to reach 1K!
