Just wish ceasing to exist made more sense

The ridiculousness of our existence isn't even the bit that freaks me out; it's the perceived ridiculousness yet inevitably of non-existence. I wish my brain could accept that we do not exist after however long. I've never had a sleep from which I hadn't woken up. It would all be less scary if it was just more comprehensible.
