LO needs to be held ALL. THE. TIME. I can’t pump!

Post Body

My LO is 7.5 weeks. For the last two weeks, she is going through a phase where she cannot sleep in her bassinet or crib during the day for naps, she HAS to be contact napping. My husband is back to work and I’m really trying to maintain my supply and pump every 2-3 hours, but when I go to put her down so I can pump, she just wails. Then I feel awful pumping and listening to her wail for 15-20 minutes while I pump.

Did anyone else go through this? Does it get better? I’m dying here 😩

My kiddo is starting to get like this too I’ve found that if I take a blanket and roll it up and wrap it around him it feels like he’s being held still and sometimes I need to add one of mine or my fiancé’s shirts to the roll I of course don’t let him out of my sight while doing this as it’s not really safe sleep standards
