Thunderdome Rundown; yes it’s strict. Here’s your top 10 guide.
Post Body

Okay guys; for you n00bs, here’s your rundown.

  1. Getting in/out. If you’re new, you HAVE to go down the 90° mountain goat-esque steps to get to the floor. Be careful. It’s wild. Help your friends. Don’t die. Be careful of the rail, if you fall you go splat. No one did so I have faith in y’all but fr be careful lmao.

  2. Security. Y’all. They are not playing. They took my unopened gum, chapstick, and tums. I did cry until I got my tums back (yeah I’m that girl but my tummy hurt so. Get at me idc.) but I got lucky.

Do not try to get fanny packs/hydro packs in. They will take them. Everything they say on there about random things like stickers, they mean. Be crafty; if you need tips pm me. They will pat you down and they do have metal detectors. Expect them to open your ear plug holders. Don’t take anything you’re scared to lose.

  1. Drinking. If you are used to drinking at shows; don’t expect to drink here. Last year it took a set. To get a drink. YES. A SET.

I hope he changed it but you had to wait in every bit of a 45 minute line to get a drink TICKET. then you got to the bar to get a drink. You CANNOT leave the drink area with it and you cannot get more than 1 drink.

  1. Vaping (or anything else) in the crowd. BE. C A R E F U L. there IS security WALKING THROUGH the crowd. If they see vape smoke, they WILL walk over. Especially in the back. They have radios. BE. CAREFUL.

  2. Bathrooms. Girlies and guys, they may take it, but I’d take a ziplock bag with toilet paper. Those bathrooms are a disaster and they’re confusing as hell to get in. they’re not replenishing once the doors open.

  3. Headbanger helpers. They’re there to help. For anything. Ask them. Lost and found is at the very direct back of the floor. They will also have water. If you are exhausted, they will take you to a room and let you sleep (I have seen it happen lol.) if you are tripping and need a safe space, GO TO THEM. they are not there to get you in trouble, but they do not have the freedom they do at lost lands. Be smart, be safe, If you see something say something, and go to them before security if it isn’t something that needs addressed very seriously.

  4. EARPLUGS. TAKE THEM. This is by far the loudest event I’ve been to. It’s not just a matter of saving your hearing. Your ears will hurt.

  5. Rail or bust? Not here. Try different spaces of the crowd! Try the stands, try the back. The lasers are WILD. experience it all!

Pro tip: if you’re in the stands don’t set anything down. The bass will move it far away real fast. 😂

  1. Cell service, good luck. Have a meeting place for your friends.

  2. Ubers are tough. It’s cold. Try scheduling and (I know I know) leaving a little early. You don’t want to be Stuck outside. I was for a while.

10.5 forks is only 3 hours away. Heard there’s werewolves and vampires running around. Be vigilant 👀😂

Feel free to add on, but everyone be safe, prepare yourself, and CYA SOON ♥️

Awe I know I would have made friends but Xs indoor events are a little too intense for me. I saw him at nye and been to the coliseum and both of those were really fun but scary af. Lost lands is awesome cause you get to stay as long as you want and there’s hardly anything to worry about. These indoor events have so many rules and leaving after is always absolutely chaos.

So I had bought a ticket to the drome, never been, panned on going solo, and reading all of this I’m so glad I decided to sell my ticket. This sounds way too stressful for me. Hope everyone going stays safe and has fun!
