So it seems like most everyone here comes from a Oneness background.
I come from a trinity background but currently attending Oneness. Ive kept all my beliefs and havent changed. I just praise God at Oneness temple.
Curious what everyone was taught about the other?
In my case, I feel like I was misguided about Oneness. Ive come to learn more about them and although some things are true, others are not. I have heard the arguments/criticisms from Oneness about trinity and I can argue without a doubt theres a lot of lies or misunderstandings (I DONT believe/pray to 3 different Gods)
One thing I find interesting is I have brought trinity friends to church without saying a word about it being oneness...and they have felt the Spirit, spoken in tongues and danced in the Spirit. On the other side, I didnt tell anyone my friends were trinitarians and they pray, speak tongues and dance WITH them and later tell me how amazing the Holy Spirit felt between them lololol
So either everyone is lying about the Spirit or theres a lot more in common between both groups that we dont have to be divided.
