So im new to apostolic church and I notice that If the Lord is working in me and members see this, they will all come and surround me and pray for me. Why? Why so many people?

Or if someone prays for you...2 mins later someone else will come and pray for you...2 mins after them another person and so on until they have all had their chance. Why?

I was taught not to lay hands on just anyone and not to allow just anyone to lay hands on me. I think I made a couple of enemies my first month there because I told a few people they could pray for me but dont put their hands on me unless they were the Pastor.

To this day I still make it a point where either NOBODY prays for me or only the Pastor does.
