I posted something similar to this on the ex christian sub but I want get more suggestions or help if possible. I’ll give a bit of a backstory first.
I started Doordash last month and I’ve made close to $700 since then. Since I’m trying to leave but also showing that I’ll be fine on my own (they don’t know I’m trying to leave), I’m paying my mom $200 a month for bills. The issue I have is my dad wants me to tithe on whatever I make and uses the whole “God’ll pour out a blessing” jargon to reason. Today I had to give him $50 for tithe since he kept bugging me over and over, on the inside I feel so ticked.
Anyone have ideas on what I could do? I’m scared what could happen if I refuse to give, I don’t have any leverage so I’d be screwed.
