Yesterday, it was very hot outside and I had to go grab my new glasses from the mall a few blocks down. So I grabbed a random shirt that doesn’t fit the best since I was in a rush, but my mom noticed it was short sleeve so she got really ticked and made me change into a long sleeve. I was really annoyed that she would tell me to change into one yet she never says a word when other pastor’s kids wear short sleeves.

After I was finished getting my new glasses, I walked around the mall and just took some time to think. Needless to say, it felt very peaceful being alone and at some point, I decided that I wasn’t going to give up that easy. Before I went to the gym later on, I stopped by at a retail store and bought a simple T shirt. I wore the shirt to the gym and it felt way better than long sleeve. My parents might get mad that I bought a t shirt (they don’t know that I did) but if they are, that’s on them since I’m a grown adult.

Once I get a job (I’ve been applying to a crap load of places), I’ll be able to move out and not have to worry about this anymore. Like I’ve said in other threads, I’m ready to close this chapter in my life for good.
