I see a lot of people in this group have left the church altogether and become agnostics or atheists, while others have stayed in the faith but maybe found somewhere a bit more conservative to fit in. I'm really interested if anyone has considered Orthodoxy, and their experience with it. To me they seem like opposite ends of a spectrum, approaching it just form an historical perspective. Pentecostals are clearly an outgrowth of European Protestantism, even if they see themselves as the rebirth of the first century church, so going back to pre-1054 would seem unlikely. Personally I have an interest in Orthodox theology as it seems less hellfire and brimstone. Not sure I would ever go there tho, after my experience with Pentecostalism.
Thoughts?
