I finally let go of you, the ideal image I had. I will always miss the way you could brighten my day with a smile, but I'm glad that I no longer stare at my phone awaiting a text or call I know I won't get. Thanks for the love and all the lessons I learned in our time. I hope you're doing well, but I no longer want you back. Can't wait till I'm ready to meet someone new, but for now I guess at least it's a step forward instead of back.
