Phone rings and rings, wakes me up, but I dont get to it time. So I text "sorry, couldnt pick up in time". She calls back again and laughs and says Why didnt.you just call back? Me:because I'm sleeping. She ghosted me after off/on for five years. So we talk for almost an hour. My personality is to ask a lot of questions and not talk about myself, and that's what I did. But surprise surprise she peppered me with questions about me, family, work, and the dog. I didn't embellish how great my life is, I just played it.cool and friendly and nice. I went back to sleep thinking about my shopping date with New Girl today at 10am. I may even buy her something (dating 3 weeks). It gets better, folks.
