My ex (23f) broke up with me (24m) after 4.5years together - 4 months ago. The reason she gave was that she needed some time to find/explore herself and we are too young to be in such a comitted relationship. I get this since we were both so young when we got together. She said she would hope that one day we would get back together.
I tried asking her to come back and cried to her in the first month.
We talked and text the following months (as friends).
Then about a month ago, we agreed we should go no contact. I said i love her and i really hope we get back together after some time apart. She said she does too.
I have broken the no contact rule 2-3 times since and said i am really keen to hang out after the covid-19 lockdown. She is friendly in her responses but it is clear she is avoiding any affection in her responses.
My ideal is we get back together in 2 years (or asap preferably) which is when we planned to move overseas together when we were together. What is my best course of action?
It is clear she does not want to be together now, but i really hope we can be in a couple years. The uncertainty is killing me.
