Iโ€™m sticking to no contact (2 months NC now, 4 months broken up) but realistically I know deep down I need the closure of apologizing to my ex and hopefully receiving some level of forgiveness. We had a lot of great memories together so I also just want to thank her for sharing that part of my life with me and wish her good luck in her future.

Iโ€™d love to tell her these things now, but I also respect her need for personal space and definitely donโ€™t want to annoy her or get myself blocked etc.

The breakup was really messy and even then I tried to convey some of these things to her and she responded very dismissively, calling me selfish, narcissistic and generally just pushing me away, etc.

It hurts me a lot that things ended this way and I think if we both can have one more interaction on good terms, even if just through text, it would help me a lot mentally. But when is the right time to initiate this?
