We broke up the 16th, her decision not mine. Struggled really hard for the first week and a half or so. Then all of a sudden, last Sunday or Monday, it was like a light switch flipped. I canceled her line on my phone plan last week, too (I made sure she'd have service for a bit until she figured out her own phone), and let her know I was going to cancel over the phone so she had time to prepare. We initially planned on going in together but I don't want to see her. Today I've blocked her on FB, Instagram, Snapchat, and even reddit. I haven't told her I've blocked her on everything and I don't plan to. The only thing I haven't blocked is her number, but I've disabled push notifications for texts from her number. It might be weak of me but if there's ever an accident or something really bad happens or she really really needs help with something, I don't want to leave her high and dry. But other than that? I don't care anymore. She made this decision, she said she needed space, and she blindsided me with this breakup. So I'll give her that space. Permanently.
