I made him a T-shirt and a book. I hand drew a map of the place we very first met and I added detail. On other pages I hand drew big events and cute things we experienced and talked about. It's like a hand illustrated "book". I was working on it before we broke up and continued after we broke up and I recently finished it. {Spoiler alert: it ends on a cliff hanger! Lmao. Sorry. A little no-contact humor there lol} Its really lighthearted and was super loving and fun to make. 6 months ago, he would have totally loved it I think. It was a little hard to finish, but I didn't want to leave it unfinished.
Obviously I can't give it to him. For more reasons than just "we are no contact." He hates me and said so a LOT so it would be absolutely inappropriate at this point. (And irrelevant, I suppose) I poured a lot of feelings, time, and work into it. It doesn't change anything... I've truly accepted no contact and I won't break the promise I made to him to stay NC... but what do I do with them now? Do I put them in a box and store them in the attic? Do I throw it out? What's the healthiest thing to do? What would you do with them?
