Should I delete our pics?

It’s been six months since we broke up. I still have our pictures from more than a year ago. I want to delete the images, but I also want to keep them. I don’t know, maybe the memories? I was at my happiest in those pictures.
I need your advice, please. I need convincing, and persuasion as, why, despite all those pictures being some of the happiest moments of my life, I need to delete them for good. Please, and thank you.
