So, today they had a joint status conference, which I attended virtually (I checked with the court clerk, they told me it'd be fine if I called in, and that if the judge disagreed they'd kick me).

So, Benjamin Lockyer is making a request to have all documents filed as "attorneys eyes only", which would prevent even Kitti, DWKT, and Bekah Day from seeing them. Thankfully, the court rejected that. They're currently in the process of working out a confidentiality order.

However, the judge reiterated her extreme annoyance with people emailing in, and identified several people by name. Apparently these people had sent messages telling the judge to check Reddit, and to watch YouTube channels including MadCatster and "some lawyer from Canada" (I think the judge may think that MadCatster is the Canadian lawyer, but not sure on that), as well as expressing opinions about the plaintiffs. Apparently they also suggested the judge donate to the GoFundMe.

The judge will obviously not be donating to the GoFundMe.

If this is you, I want to say in the strongest possible terms: DO NOT DO THIS. KNOCK IT OFF.

This does not help any of the defendants in this case. This does not help me in covering this case. This is, to be entirely frank, very stupid.

It sounds like this is only a few people out of thousands who have seen these videos, but I am absolutely saying, do not contact the court in any way. Do not involve yourselves.
