Blood of Ares Ascending

Do you get the same scores for a ascending to the fifth stage for 300 BoA, versus just doing multiple generals on stages 1-4 (80 BoA each)? Or is the fifth stage worth more points since it uses almost four times the BoA? If that's the case I will just do as many 1-4 to collect the free bloods and then ascend them to the fifth once I calculated once I can get the max free bloods.
