Appropriate Pricing?

Inviting anyone to comment, what do you think is a reasonable price to pay for a DJ, at an event, for let’s say a four hour set. Keeping in mind they are bringing dynamic party lights, dj equipment, speakers and having to travel there aswell? A lot of the DJs that you are able to hire through companies that have a DJ pool seem to charge sometimes over $1000. Any input would be great.
