Can you run Eve off-tank?

So I've been maining Eve sinve rework. With the Q buff, I've been wondering if it's possible to run her as more of a burn down champ rather than an assassin in tank-heavy games, with Rilay and Liandry's. Deadman's Plate has always been a good tank item for her, so maybe there's something to be explored there?
