Making my biennial return to EVE Online
Post Body

I played briefly in 2008, for about two weeks. The client was buggy on my mac, and all I did was mine ore. I believe this was before it was possible to queue skills for training. The game was a little too buggy and hardcore for me (some jerk killed me in high-sec shortly before CONCORD blew him up), so I quit playing.

I resubbed in 2010. I started a new character. The new player experience was much better this time around. The quests were easy to get into, and I was happy to see that I could queue for training. I got into salvaging and questing. This lasted for about three weeks. The main reason I quit was because the mac cient was still buggy, and I got a little bored. I knew that WiS was on the horizon, so I decided to come back when that feature was operational.

So it's 2012 now. WiS is done, and it's not really as extensive as I hoped, but that's ok. CCP has emailed me a few times with promotions like, "Your character has 100,000 skill points for training!" I don't really know what this means yet, but I will find out soon. The client finished downloading while I was asleep last night, and I will get back into it tonight. I will be playing on Windows 7 this time, so I am hoping the client behaves better than it did on my mac.

Any recommendations for things to do on my first night back?
