I played several MMOs and usually if I quit them I would cancel my subscription right of the bat.

On EvE that does not happen, if I stop playing I keep my sub and keep on with my character training and eventually I will come back completely addicted again.

I was putting some thought into this and maybe its the non predictable factor of EvE PvP. Sometimes you will spend weeks doing roams in null space with very few action happening and then BOOM that day with an epic battle is presented to you out of nowhere and in my opinion EvE is the only game that can bring this kind of experience to the player, the great surprise factor.

So even if sometimes I get a bit tired of it my sub is always up and I am sure I will get back to it someday.
