Hey fellow adventurers!
I'm about to embark on a 20-day solo trip and I'm completely torn! Part of me is craving the rich history, stunning landscapes, and relatively budget-friendly charm of Eastern Europe. Imagine exploring the cobblestone streets of Prague, the vibrant culture of Budapest, or the natural beauty of Croatia!
On the other hand, the allure of Spain and Portugal is undeniable. Think sunny beaches, delicious tapas, and the laid-back vibe. I can picture myself sipping sangria in a charming Lisbon square or exploring the vibrant streets of Barcelona.
Any suggestions on which direction to take? Your insights and experiences would be super helpful!
Also, I'm open to meeting other solo travelers for parts of the trip. Any tips on how to connect with like-minded people on the road?
If you’re going to refer to Czechia, Croatia, Hungary as Eastern Europe you won’t be popular with the locals there.
