A few days ago, I received a Help Request for an order not being received and the customer wanting the item. I checked the order page and tracking. They purchased from me a month ago, their order was in the mail 4 days later, and delivered 3 days after that. When I go to relay this information, I realized they were asking for items I don't sell.
I asked if they were mistaken as I don't sell those items. Customer was nice but insisted it was those items. Sound me, clarifying what they had ordered from me. Customer suddenly says that was what they had meant and told me to send the order to a completely different address than the one on the order (and that was subsequently delivered to, a month ago).
So, I say, you know, what you ordered from my shop was delivered a month ago to [address]. I've not heard from them since. Was this an attempt to get me to send more product for free? Or did they just get embarrassed and realized it had been delivered? I just found the thing odd and my partner did, too.
Anyways, hope you all made it through the holiday rush! (I barely did!) Happy holidays!
