How to handle the question "Do you do bundles?"

I sell crystals and small crystal gardens. I had a buyer message me asking if I did bundles. This might sound stupid, but I didn't really know what that meant at first, and was hesitatant to answer. I ended up working it out and was able to offer $5 the purchase of 2 and $10 the purchase of 3 (and combined shipping, of course). This made the buyer happy, and I really didn't mind doing it, but I am curious how other Etsy sellers have handled this.
