So I have an online shop with Etsy. All of my products are digital. I’ve never had this issue before and it’s very troubling considering I am at a loss for how to fix it.

To start off: Because my products are digital, the require me to send a download to my seller once they are purchased. That way, the seller will then open the file and it will register it as received in the app. Once it is received, then the seller can leave a review. Simple, right?

Well last night I uploaded a new item, followed all the same steps, and have been having LOTS of issues. First weird thing is that the first purchase was completely fine — I have not edited the listing at all other than the price. Everything was normal — purchase went thru to my “New” orders, I sent the file, it’s approved and sent to the seller. Easy. Then I adjust the price to the cheapest one they have (someone already paid thru a different method), and she tells me it won’t let her buy it on its own. So she has to do a bundle purchase. Even when I’ve had listings for 30 cents I’ve never had that issue. This was 20 cents so maybe it was different but I nevertheless find this strange. If you’re allowed to upload an item for that price then your customers should be able to buy it. Period. At least in this case the purchase went to the “New” category so I could see it. But the weird thing is that when I completed the order, it wouldn’t let me do it individually. So, she never got file for that order, which means she can’t leave a review. I could only put a file for the other item she had to purchase to get the one she wanted. So then we try it again today — i change the price to $1 on the same listing, and it gets worse. It doesn’t even go to my New orders tab. It completely skips to “completed” — leaving me absolutely no way to even send her the file and no way to therefore leave a review. Everything is so inconsistent. First night its fine — I send over the file to first client and they purchase. Then I alter the price and even though it gets sent to the “new” category for me to leave a file, it doesn’t let me do it for the original order. And she had to buy 2 items to get the one she wanted. The third time it just gets moved to completed and I can’t leave a file AT ALL. Nor can she recieve it on her end. Very very frustrating. Customer service is no help.
