Hi y’all - I don’t have much experience with Etsy have bought a few things over the years here and there.

I recently was hunting for a special edition Mariah Carey Barbie and found one on Etsy, awesome. There were a few they had in stock I suppose, because after I purchased it said 4 more were available. Well I placed the order on 11/27 and haven’t heard anything. I went to check the shop and it’s “taking a short break”. The order is listed as confirmed but there’s no check mark or anything and it seemed automated. A lot of the items they had on there were similar to rare goods (1st edition books etc) and the shop reviews non-existent. I took the chance even against my better judgment.

I messaged the seller and got an automated response saying the order will ship soon, it still hasn’t and there’s been no communication. Etsy has the arrival between 8-14 so we’ll officially be outside the window this week. Not sure where to go from here, feel like I was scammed. Any advice?
