How weird or off-putting is this?
I (37f) am not interested in anything but a new platonic friendship, but I enthusiastically support my hubbys quest for a casual relationship/FWB and really want to support him. The usual story, pandemic life, small-ish city, nearing 40's straight white man was not getting much attention on the apps, so I made a profile on OKC and Feeld to connect accounts with him and add credibility.
Being the A-typer I am, I am now liking and intro-ing on those apps trying to get my hubby a girlfriend :D . I usually check to make sure they read my bio where I am up-front about the situation and say I am looking for a new friend maybe but my hubby is looking for a casual relationship with my full support, you seem fun, etc.
Maybe that is weird and a little cat-fishy? What do you think?
Edit for clarity. I am using my profile with pictures of me and the two of us, where I am totally up front about who I am, who we are and what we are looking for. But I chatted this out with my hubby and am stopping anyway. Since connecting out profiles he has made a viable connection ya! Also I don't really want to be too involved in his relationships so this action was setting the wrong tone.
