I recently just broke up with my boyfriend (he is having a enm relationship with his wife) and im his poly. We were together for two years and lots of my friends know him but doesnt really know our situation. But if i told them the exact reason why, the moment they heard that i was in a relationship with someone who has this kind of relationship, alot of them were saying that i did the right thing or some are giving me a “bit of negative comment” about this kind of relationship. And made me feel like i have to defend it cause he really is a nice guy and i was in this relationship because of him. Just that things has changed with what i want for the future

Its sad that i have to defend myself every time someone ask me why. And now im a little worried to if i decided to start a new relationship. That people will judge me because of this and maybe look down at me..
