like why does it matter if your partner is following a hot person on instagram, or liked a picture, especially if they’re never going to meet? how is forbidding your partner from EVER watching porn a reasonable request? are we really going to be delusional that your partner NEVER finds anyone else attractive because they truly only have eyes for you? it’s so ridiculous and controlling to me!

i feel like even within a monogamous relationship, allowing partners the freedom to find others attractive and engage with their own private fantasies without acting on them is actually healthy.

i think back to how an ex didn’t want me to post pictures of myself from a night out without including a picture of him so others would know that i “belonged” to him. ew!
