My wife (23F) and I (25M) have been in a poly relationship for 5 years now, with little success. Both of us are introverts, and due to some fairly recent trauma, we are only looking for another F(18-35). We have had two relationships thus far, and I'm not sure if it's a specific classification, but we're not really looking for an A C or B C relationship. We would love for it to be a true throuple, A B C, but that of course is hard to find in general, because you have to have someone who has or could develop feelings for both individuals and vice versa. I have told her multiple times that I think that it's probably because of me (I'm the unattractive one lol, she's a 95 lb emo alt model), but she specifically doesn't want someone who is just interested in her. There is a fine line between unicorn hunting and a true poly relationship (we would also be open to a FF poly relationship, or even another FFF throuple), but we're not having a lot of luck, and because we're introverted, we have a hard time finding the community or like-minded people in our area. We are temporarily living in the Denton/Dallas area while we house hunt, but we plan to move back to the North Houston/Conroe area. What would be some good ways for us to find someone, and how would we even go about it? It's always been so difficult finding someone we could share our love with and have someone reciprocate, but I don't even know where to start. We don't really have any preferences obviously, because that's not really fair to anyone, but it's also hard to not make it feel like an interview when we meet with someone because we have been married pretty much the whole time we have decided to be open/poly. Could someone please point us in the right direction/give us some tips? Our longest relationship was 6 months, and though we try our best to make a new partner feel included, we have a strong bond that tends to drive people away and it makes us feel awful. Idek where to begin again.
