I feel very strongly that I am non mono by nature but I’ve been in a mono relationship for almost a year now. The urge to be non mono is driving me and my partner apart. He wants to try it bc atp it’s probably the only way to stay together but he has also requested a OPP. Idk how I feel about this … I don’t deduct people down to their genitals. So I challenged him on this thinking and he says it’s not so much the peen as me (I’m femme nb) being with a man. I’ve requested we sit with a relationship counselor and try to sort this out. We are hopelessly in love with each other. Ultimately I want us both to be happy, even if that’s not with each other but it seems we are just not willing to walk away yet. Should I let him be free? Can I get others thoughts on his stipulations? Does anyone else have these dynamics in their relationship(s)?
