Partner disclosed something last night. He omitted some information previously and basically came clean because I’m going to meet one of his other partners soon. Tbh, the omission wasn’t really a big deal and I’m glad he told me but the circumstances under which he did feel wrong. I don’t think he would have said anything except there was a risk his partner might have said something about it and outed him. Not happy about that, feels deceptive. We generally have a good relationship and our communication is also good. I think he was worried about my reaction which isn’t terribly founded as we have discussed and resolved issues as they come up without yelling, name calling, etc. I told him he needs to discuss these things with me even if it’s hard and I might react. He agreed I deserve that.
I dunno, how would y’all handle this? He has been trustworthy, supportive and generally a good partner to this point. It’s just not sitting right with me and need some perspective.
