I (30m) have been seeing someone (40m) casually for about 3 months. His husband (39m) and my boyfriend (29m) are both completely aware of the situation and the four of us have even hung out a couple times (platonically).

Recently me and my friend have decided we have feelings for each other and want to have a relationship, but we don’t know what to call it or what title to give each other.

Both our partners are completely fine with us two having a relationship.

My “friend” feels boyfriend is too serious as that title should lead to engagement as a goal, however we both agree we don’t want to replace our current main relationships. I recommended semi-boyfriend but he didn’t like it.

Any suggestions?
