I’m having a bit of a dilemma: I like my meta, she’s friendly and social, but I’ve noticed I somehow wished our bond was better.

My way of making friends is to show my vulnerable side and talk about insecurities. She likes to have more superficial conversations and this irks me. My way of bonding with a meta is to talk about things we find difficult or things we like about our partner. But every attempt I make to talk about these things is shut down by her and I’ve noticed she never asks me any questions.

How do I best go from here? Do I just accept that this is just our differences in communication and that we will never have a deep bond? I’m starting to feel a bit of resentment towards her which I don’t like.
