Hello. I was hoping for some advice. We have been married for 10 years. I always knew my wife was fluid as she said when we started dating that she falls in love with the person - not the gender. I work in the creative industries and am completely understanding.
A few months ago she came out to me as queer. I wasn’t and am not phased by it. I love her - I was pleased she felt comfortable that she was able to tell me.
Recently we had a conversation about non-monogamy and how I would feel about opening our marriage. As she has never explored that side of her (women/non binary) I am open to it - I completely understand why she is seeking it. To explore her queerness.
So to label it we would be a one sided non-monogamous open marriage.
She is committed to me. Isn’t planning on a Poly relationship - however, we are all humans and feelings can creep up on you. Not against that either. But imagine the admin 🤣 will be a conversation if it happens. As that will change everything.
So in conclusion she is looking for something casual - to be able to explore something that's been suppressed - is there anyone hear who has been through something similar, and if so how did you manage to get your head around it and make it work?
Thank you and I don’t wish to offend anyone!
