Hi all! 24NB, if relevant to my experience!

Historically, I have been monogamous, and have historically been satisfied with it. I never intrinsically wanted to have sex with other people, date other people, etc. while in my monogamous relationships, is what I mean.

However, I got out of a monogamous relationship about 4 months ago, and practically every dating experience I've had since has involved a level of ENM. For example, my first hook up post-breakup was with someone who practiced ENM with his girlfriend. I didn't feel uncomfortable being intimate with him given that he had a girlfriend, which made me curious. I feel that my next (current) experience is grazing polyamory. I am casually dating a married woman, and as my feelings for her grow (nothing serious), I'm a bit surprised to not feel any jealousy or uncertainty given that she has a husband. Her and I are going on dates, hanging out, partaking in hobbies together, things I would do with a partner as opposed to someone I'm only casually hooking up with.

If I think back to my monogamous relationships, I feel certain that I would NOT have been able to practice ENM out of jealousy. Maybe it's because those relationships started with monogamy, and maybe it's that I'm more comfortable entering a previously constructed ENM/poly relationship.

Does this make me ENM or polyamorous? Maybe it's entirely possible to be capable of both types of relationships (not concurrently, obviously). It's not that I want to label myself any certain way, I simply feel I am exploring a new world and would like to better understand it, myself, my feelings, and the people I date. Finally, any general tips? Thank you!
